Buffalo or Rome, NY

Im in both places. Buffalo for school (sep-dec, jan-may) and i am in the central ny (rome/syracuse) are the rest.
anyone from thoes areas? buffalo is the best place for me tho.
i know there are other posts like this, but i want to see if anything changed
