I picked these up from an estate sale for a few dollars today. There are 29 cards, no box. Dirty, but no tears or creases. Court cards and number cards have no numbers. Photos below...

So, are they worth anything? Do they have any historical significance in the world of playing cards? Can anyone give me a solid date range? (I'm thinking late 1800s)

Thanks!

Looks like the cards were produced between 1864 and 1873. (After change from Lawrence, Cohen & Co, with Williams St. address.)

Haven't been able to track them down yet but shouldn't be too difficult as they are double ended court cards as opposed to one way cards which featured in some of their decks.

P.S. I knew none of this, my crystal ball (google) told me.

Yes I have been on that website and a few others because obviously (haha) I googled them myself, but of course its just really broad information that doesn't pertain to this deck in particular.

I do appreciate you looking into it for me though. Thanks! :)

Sorry, figured that was probably the case but you can never be sure. To my amazement there are still people that don't think to ask google or bing.

Hope someone can give you some more specific info.

Haha thats alright, I know all about that. I've been on magic forums, including being a moderator, for 9+ years and it's always been an issue. I didn't put down too much initial information so I can see that it would be easy to assume. It's okay. :)
