Card Presser (A Larger Card Clip)

Hi guys, I have recently bought a porper card clip to help unwarp my cards and flatten them. Sometime when i'm practising moves like top shot and some flourishes I accidentally bend the card. And this kinda annoys me cause if I look at the side of my deck, I can see a break where the bent card is. So when I cut the deck, it always cuts to that card. I have been using the card clip for a while now and it bends and scratches my box. Maybe i'm not putting the decks in right. And the card clip does not fit all decks, as in i cant unwarp some cards. Therefore, I have made a card presser. Its basically a box made out of 5 wooden pieces and its the exact size as a playing card. Then I have another wooden piece as the top to press the cards with a clamp. And the card presser I made unwarps the cards and makes them look new as if there a new deck. It only takes 30 mins and the cards are nice and crisp again. I've been putting my red riderbacks in the card presser and the deck has lasted me 2 months now! So I'm wondering if anyone has actually made a card presser like mine. Thanks.

A 'Card Press' is a device that's been around for ages. A Google image search will turn up several examples from a very simple set up which is basically a couple plates of metal with two screws to far more fancy models which look like something out of a steampunk movie.

I've never needed more than my Porper clip, but for serious card workers a card press is pretty useful. It can also be used to help make manipulation cards.
