Cards Problems

It really depends in what you like or not...
I know some people who use plastic cards, but I think one big downside is, that they don't fan as well
as "normal" cards - to be honest: the only fan which is ok with plastics is a pressure fan, I think ;)

But if you like handling plastic cards and you don't want to fan them, it's no problem;
Just buy a plastic deck and a paper deck and play around with both.
You will see, which one fits for you.

There will be some major/small problems (depending of the quality of those cards) when it'll come to moves like fans and spreads. Other than that I don't see anything wrong about it.

There's nothing inherently wrong with it, I actually will bring plastic cards to the beach/pool to mess with because they're waterproof. However, they handle very differently than paper cards and its a totally different feel. To start flourishing with plastic cards you sort of end up having to relearn it to a point - it's difficult to explain, you should just get a deck and see for yourself.

I actually have been working on an effect where I dip a card in water and it starts to bleed, and it ruined my plastic cards. They are waterproof, but only to a point. Also, where can I find paper playing cards? All I can find in my local shops are plastic coated.
