It’s his handling of a CSB (copper silver brass) across. We don‘t discuss methods on these forums but I’ll give my 2 cents on how I feel about that routine.
The spectator having the say on which coin is pretty cool and sets it apart from most other versions. He has a “gutsy” moment that I personally would avoid but others might be fine with. I have ideas for another way to accomplish this… but they are not any better or more fair than his handling.
The mechanics of it are within reach of most intermediate and some beginners but some parts are certainly dependent on the performers personality and audience management. For instance I can see this working great in the hands and mannerisms of Greg Wilson…but less well with other performers.
Craig Petty is a great creator and I really enjoy some of his releases and routines but I’m not fully into this one though. I don’t see if he marketed this effect anyways, it’s not on his lectures that I can see…maybe it’s on his Netrix?
