So basically which is better in your opinion. Does the DVD contain all the effects found within the book, or just a selection? I don't exactly have a preference in learning from books or DVD's, but would like to know the difference between the two

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Classic Magic DVD contains all of the effects from the book of the same name (as far as I can recall). It includes a ton more stuff including coin effects.

I personally own both, and started with the book. But I also wanted a visual reference so I bought the DVD as well (along with Larry Jennings' "Thoughts on Cards").
