Clip Shift sound?

I've been doing the clip shift pretty much since it has came out....however I have never felt completely comfortable with it for this reason:

Does anyone ever have the card making (almost like) a scraping noise before the move is finished? I don't want to say too much about the process of the shift but I always have to cover up the noise with some sort of patter.

Does this happen to anyone else?

the mechanics of the clip shift if done properly should make it silent re watch the tutorial and pay close attention to the finger/card positions through out the move.

try to make it with a softer grip, and also do it slower, you´ll get every move better and hopefully it will not sound anymore
