Close up pad

Hi. I am looking to make my own close up card pad. I was wondering what materials to use. I have the correct size wood, but what type of material do you guys prefer to use for the mat?

Felt, glue and wood, felt can be found at any craft store as for the wood and glue you know where to get those get a piece of wood big enough for a desk, you don't want to be cramped when performing sleights. Take the felt around and glue it to the bottom of the board and make sure it's smooth you don't want any waves. I was planning on doing this actually before I bought a close-up mat which I do recommend I got a very nice one about 24in x 19in, for 24 dollars from a local shop.

I'm not trying to sound mean but sometimes threads have been around for awhile that would benefit our member if they would just do a little leg work and use the "search" function.

Oh yeah. Sorry. I don't want to be that lazy guy. I can't believe I forgot to search it first, usually I am good at remembering to check the forum before posting. My bad. Thanks though for the link. Sorry to be that guy who is too lazy to do his own research.
