Well, there are two performances of Control. One before the explanation and another after Wayne and Danny explains it. The performance before the explanation also has other effects that Wayne performs for the audience at a Christmas party e.g. Invisible Palm. Of course, this is extremely useful because we need to know how to actually perform it for the spectators. Nothing else can teach us that better than these live performances. The one after the explanation of Control has Wayne walk you through step-by-step how COntro lshould be performed. He also points out his own mistake. Very well done.
Quality: 10/10
Dana really knows how to do a good job. Crystal clear, HD, i think it's way too obvious that every theory11 video is of the highest quality.
Effects: I am talking about the quality of the effects, not the quality of the explanation.
Control: 8/10
Nice effect with a simple method. Very easy to do. With a little practice, this can be performed within two days or less. However, when performing for people, there is a chance you might get caught with the awkward position. I cannot go any further or I will be exposing the method. Anyway, I performed it at least 10 times and have got caught twice. However, Wayne teaches you how to overcome that. It does help, but there is still a minor chance of getting suspected by the spectator. Overall ,a good trick.
Stop: 9/10
Nice effect, needs much more practice than Control to perfect. Tried this once, got a nice reaction. The method to this in ingenoius. Very 'cool' effect in the sense that the spectator really goes to your heart and hears that your heartbeat is slowing down and gone. That is it. No cover. nothing. Direct and to the point. No major flaws in this method. Perfect follow-up to Control.
Watch Stop: 7/10
Risky effect, you need guts to pull this off. I will not really perform this unless I find the spectator to be really gullible. The method is, like Stop, ingenious and impromptu, but your spectator either gets completely fooled or laughs at how easy the trick is. Still, not a bad effect by Mr. Houchin.
Explanations: 10/10
Flawless. Danny and Wayne leaves absolutely NO stone unturned in their explanations. Everything you need to know about the effects. For Stop, though they said that it would be difficult to explain, the teaching was phenomenally easy to follow and understand.
Bonus Footage: 9/10
There is a section where Wayne screws up which is hilarious, and also where Wayne has a conversation with his wife. Also, Randall shows up and performs it for people on the street after Wayne teaches it to him. Really funny! I laughed my jaw out. There are also conversations which shows Wayne with I don't know what the guy's name is, I think it is is Dexter on summin, of the idea of the three effects. It is a small part of the DVD, but still quite useful.
Overall: 8/10
Overall, the methods to the effects are all really cool in the sense that they are impromptu and can be done in the nude, maybe there are a few limitations to the methods of Control and the Watch stop. Control, well, can be a little suspicious at times, and thw Watch Stop is REALLY risky. But still, really good. Reactions to COntrol are great. Those who are not confident in their performances, you may now want to get because you need guts in all three effects. Those who are bold, this one is definitely for you. Another success for Wayne Houhcin, entertaining and very well done.
