I own the ebook CUT by Daniel Madison and have made the gimmick for it. It is a great effect but only if it "works."
I was wondering if any of you that own CUT have any good outs for if the spectator notices the gimmick. I have performed this a few times with success but in my most recent performance, the spectator noticed the gimmick and i didnt know what to do. Luckily it was only my mom and not anyone in publice that would go and tell everyone how it is done.
Ever since then i have not performed this for fear of this happening again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
