Personally, I found the flourishes on Motion to be rather easy to get down quickly. However, if you have no flourishing experience whatsoever, I would highly recommend practicing the sybil and the revolution cut before attempting anything on Motion.

i have motion, its not super hard, but not for beginners.

like everyone said extreme beginners is the best place to start.

but if you want to jump straight into motion, like itwasluck said
learn the rev cut, and sybil first.

D+M uses the rev cut in almost all of the flourishes on the dvd, and he has 3 o 4 variations to the sybil.

good luck

When I bought motion I wasn't experienced in flourishing really, just a couple of little cuts. It teaches with over the shoulder angles so you can see it from your perspective. All the flourishes look amazing but do take a lot of practice. You may have to rewatch it several times or so many times that you break your dvd player like me, but i would seriously recommend this dvd to anyone of any skill level.

If you don't have much experience, you won't be able to maximize the content. Sure you'll be able to do some of the easy stuff but the best parts are very advance and hard to pick-up if you don't have much practice.
