Does anyone know what is the Effect that david does where the spectator chooses the number of cards and that number transposes into his hand.

Also the one where he tears the card makes the torn part vanish and then restore the card ?

I am not too sure about the first one but if I am not mistaken, I think it is David Blaine's strange travelers.

As for the second, the part where the torn corner vanishes, that would be Angle Z by daniel madison. For the restoration, that is blake vogt's regeneration.

Something tells me the card packet transposition is from Marlo, either way its very old.

The trick where the card travel into the spectators hands is called cards across. A version of it is taught in either Paul Harris's AoA or TA. There is also a person that is more similar to what Blaine did on Shimshi's old DVD.

Paul Harris is the guy you need to look into. He and David are good friends. Not going to tell you where to find it or what it's called. I don't want to take away the 'joy of the search', but Paul Harris is the guy you want.
