I'm looking into doing this sort of thing but I have a few questions first.

-Do you need a specific type of ring?
-Does the ring have to be loose around your finger or can it be rather snug like a normal ring you'd wear.

I'm planning on buying a ring in the near future and just wanted to know these things as I don't want to buy something I can't use.

For performing the effect of De'Ring, you do need specific factors in the ring. These arent hard things to achieve, they arent like "it must have a hole here and studs here". Its basically the size, shape, edge, etc. Everything is explained on the DVD. I wouldnt go buying a ring before getting the DVD though. Some moves require specific things while other moves dont. So it would be better to get the DVD first.

The ring can be quite snug but it might take a bit of extra practice to get the moves down. The DVD goes over what shape, edge, size, etc. so you don't go scraping your skin off and bleeding while practicing/performing.
