OK can somebody tell me the effect in detail. Let's say you were performing it...tell me every detail(not how it's done obviously) because i don't think it's possible to know what card a spectator is thinking of in the manner that was told in the product desciption.

Ok. Firstly, Diplopia is awesome, definitely get it. But for what you asked for...

A spectator thinks of a card. He takes it out of a borrowed deck to show the other spectators, before replacing it. The magician also thinks of a card and does the exact same thing. The deck is handed to the spectator to shuffle. The spectator then is asked to remove the card that he or she thinks the magician thought of. The magician then removes the card that he or she thinks the spectator thought of. The spectator states his thought of card, the magician was correct. The magician states his thought of card, and the spectator reveals his card - also correct.

The climax is not the magician choosing the right card, but the spectator choosing the right card - this is the crux of the effect. I have seen many advertisements, and whilst the effect will take longer than the ad might suggest, the ad is accurate.
