Hi all, I am wondering to find a way to ditch the coin when vanishing the coin. And I was wondering if Kevin li uses this method to do this vanish, or a better version of this.

Do yourself a favour and buy and read The Award-Winning Magic of John Cornelius by Lance Pierce. It is available as an inexpensive PDF and includes the trick you want to learn. This trick isn't the most practical vanish but is perfect for video performances. It is difficult to cleanly ditch the coin because of the method being used. That's why it is best to reproduce it and move on to something else. However, I am sure that there is a way to ditch the coin. Maybe you can come up with something yourself. Good luck!

Yes, he's performing the trick as it is described in the book. While it is a competent performance, he's not added anything new to the plot.
I'm not exposing the method here. It is not my secret to share. Buy the book if you want to learn it.
