Flourishes with 100% plastic cards

I play a fair bit of poker and often the tables use Copag 100% plastic cards. I find them really hard to do flourishes with especially spreads and fans, does anyone have any resources that talk about techniques for working with 100% plastic cards?

In my experience, 100% plastic cards have lent themselves to all sorts of flourishes really well (sometimes better than paper cards, though the resultant "paper cut" with them might be worse ).
Perhaps your issue is something else?

What spreads or fans are you trying out and what is the exact problem (gaps in spreads, cards slipping out of fans, etc)?
