I am still in buying mode. need to stop to work on the magic, but haven't had the time. OK, so I got a few things that were good deals (bang for the buck) and probably aren't a 10 in terms of how amazing the trick/effect is. I got a COMBO Package for Coins and Cards (each has 4-DVD's) for $35 which is a decent value. I am not as excited about this DVD Lesson, as the other one I just ordered. Oh ya, also got that BoBo Coin Bible Book. Not sure a Book will keep my interest, but it was like $5.

I had a $70 Credit after returning 2 sets of Tango Scotch N' Soda coins that I didn't like. I decided instead of picking a trick or a utility, to invest in learning and this offers lots of content for my money.

I read a lot of Good Reviews as well and ordered "The Royal Road To Card Magic" 5-DVD Box Set by R. Paul Wilson. Place had it on-sale for $60 (Amazon was selling $95). Looks pretty cool. Then I had $7 left and got "The Essentials of Magic" for The Invisible Deck (which I own but haven't used yet).

I was ABOUT to buy "The Code", but decided to instead get a Marked Deck, which I have never used before. I started looking and found a guy did a video on his Top 10 Marked Decks, and decided to get his #1 and #2 choice.

These cards were recently released, and were this reviewer's #1 Choice. Only 700 decks of each color (R&B) will be produced. Cadenza Playing Cards by NKW. $20 each, but had early-bird special for(2) packs for $30, so I got 4 total packs.

The reviewer's #2 Marked Deck choice was DMC ELITES ROUGE. These shipped from Britain or somewhere like that and price was shown in Euros. I went ahead and decided to get (2) decks of these for
£13.50 each.

Should I buy the card trick, "Chaos"? Or, what is one of the best card tricks out right now, one that is amazing and if it's a gaff or utility, that's fine. Just looking for a really cool, unique trick that drops jaws.

Are you talking about Danny Garcia's card through window called Chaos? There are a few out there with that name. If you are looking for a killer trick that you can do focus on the invisible deck. It is killer and will leave your crowd speechless. It is one of the all time best things that I do.

I'd work your way through these huge DVD sets before you move on to anything else for a while. If you mastered all that material you would be an excellent magician and you could probably start working as a close up magician as a professional.

In royal road everywhere and no where is strong. Do as I do is almost self working and is completely killer. I know a few magicians that perform this trick as part of their walk around gigs. Think stop is a classic as well. An instinct for cards was one of Johnny Carson's favorite effects. It will fool magicians.

My favorite things in Bobos are the new era coin go, the pulse trick, a touch of Midas and m all time favorite effect in Bobo is the impromptu version of a smart coin trick. If you wear a watch you can do it sleeveless and baffle magicians.

Exactly. You have a lot of great material. It doesn't have flashy trailers, but it can amaze your spectators just as well.

Around this time today I actually I performed this for a friend. He had asked me awhile ago to teach him some card magic and since he's my best and oldest friend I was more than happy to teach him some basics and see if he takes a liking to it. Even though I had JUST taught this guy some very basic card handling, such as the overhand shuffle control and key card placement, this still KILLED him. Which proves that even though some people might be familiar with a key card, this trick is a killer. I didn't teach him this trick though :p If he's serious about learning then one day he'll get it.

Thanks Josh for all the information. I appreciate it!
