Gravity Half Pass Use?

I've used it for an effect from David Stone's real secrets of magic vol2 trick called William to make it impromptu.
Pretty much EVERY effect in The Paper Engine, lol.
Seriously though, there are about two in there that don't use it, and all the others that do are good uses for it. Some could even be considered entire exercises in using the half pass. One effect has two handlings, one uses 12 half passes, the other 8, lol. Actually, I don't remember the exact number of half passes in it, but there are quite a few used in just the one routine. It's, IMO, something just for fun and practice.

I use it very heavily in my inversion routine. It lets me actually insert their card into the deck and invert it right in front of the spectator's nose, under the cover of the magic moment "move".

There are LOTS of applications of the GHP, if you put some thought into it. Another one is a packet switch, for example. The Paper Engine covers many, but I'm sure you could think of more.
