Harry Lorayne's Apocalypse Volumes?

Actually i had taken about 6 months break from magic. But now im back. i have thought of getting the harry lorayne's apocalypse voles 1 to 20 and art of astonishment by paul harris. If you have any of the product above mentioned you can say me about the effects you used and got a great reaction or about any better substitute """Book""" Yes i have thought to buy only books.. But one problem is no company ships art of astonishment to India. So i think ill take a go at the harry lorayne's apocalyse.
And do you you know anyone from whom I can get a copy of Bill goodwin's lecture notes ANCIENT EMPTY STREET CARD MAGIC NOTES. I am ready to pay 100$'s for this notes. Or any other book where i can learn the ""off balance transposition"". Pls help me out guys.

As much as I like Apocalypse, its just so much stuff to go through. I personally like the Art of Astonishment for routines. Just my 2 cents...

You really can't go wrong with either of those. There's SO much good stuff in Apocalypse and in AoA. AoA easier to read, but Apocalypse has more stuff. Again, you will NOT be disappointed by either.

I have only the first book of Apocalypse (vols 1 to 5). I must say I was very surprised at the quality of material in it. There are so many brilliant ideas
there and very little fluff (the little that is there is easy to avoid).

My respect for Harry Lorayne grew immensely after I had skimmed through this series. I have no idea how he consistently managed to get some of the best names in magic to contribute so regularly to a magic magazine.

I would say that you cannot go wrong with Apocalypse because there is so much quality material in it. It ranges from self working stuff to knuckle busters. It is also a good book of ideas.

Art Of Astonishments 1 - 3 are probably the best magic books i have ever bought. There is an amazing amount of material in these books i use alot of it EVERY DAY. Not only are there great effects there are great ideas, concepts, essays and for me atleast is was a massive creative boost.

I can't say to much about Apocalypse but there definitely is some amazing material withing it.
