I am trying to figure out what card trick this is (skip to 5:57) -

Is there a name to this trick or is it something this guy (Terry Ward) made himself?

I'm not sure what that specific trick is, but if Daniel Garcia teaches a pretty cool "lie detector" on his Penguin Magic lecture (and possibly elsewhere).

P.S. There is a strong possibility that I think Garcia's lie detector is cool because it is an opportunity to shout at someone, sometimes...
