Help! The Invisible Deck

I've been tempted time and time again to buy the invisible deck. It isn't cheap (no good magic trick is) but I was thinking of finally giving in. Before I do so, I wanted to get some feedback from the community (I am sure there is a good number of you who have this trick). First, my biggest question: What is the failiure rate for this trick? Second: Is the gimmick re-createable? (so I can have a custom back invisible deck). Also is there any praises or criticism to be had for this trick? Help me out and post below!
Thanks,
-Bryant

Bryant:

There shouldn't be a failure rate if performed correctly. The handling is very easy and you can master it pretty quickly. I have a couple of tips that will help you with performing it if you are interested.

If you want to make a custom back invisible deck, you can send me a PM and I'll explain the process. The original effect and method was developed by Joe Berg back in 1936 and called the Ultra Mental Deck. The invisible deck is the name of the routine popularized by Eddie Fields around 1942.

Absolutely not true, a good trick is not only the method (personally I think the standard 'popular' method for the Invisible deck is quite bad actually).

Making one yourself is a much better option, definitely PM RealityOne as I'm sure he knows more about it than I do. There are better ways to spend your money.

Absolutely worth the money. Though I don't use it often for a while I had it in a clear box on stage during my show ready as a backup (I had someone lie (forget?) What their card was, so I used the ID as a backup if they named a different card.
