Hello fellow Theory11 users!
My name is Tom and I have been a member for about a month now and have been watching from the "sideline" for maybe a year or so. Finally I have decided to put in some input to the hundreds of interesting discussion that go on every day.

I live in the UK, England. More specifically in a city called Manchester which most of you will probably know of especially considering that it's neighboring city is Blackpool which hosts the largest magic convention in the world.

I have been interested in magic most of my life and have been learning and performing magic for around 2 and a half years now and hope to forever.

Thanks for your time, I would love to meet you all personally below!

Regards,
Tom

Hello Tom,

My name is Gabriel Zudeck , I have been on the Theory11 forums on and off since April 2013. I am happy to be a part of this community for going on four years now. I have met many interesting people here on the forums. This is a great place to buy and learn magic, meet new people etc.... Every Saturday there is a Saturday Night Contest which is held by Casey Rudd .... I would recommend you try your luck there , always fun , many prizes up for grabs... and best of all, it's free to enter. I am very fond of cards. My favorite move to practice is the Gamblers False Cut or Up The Ladder. Favorite Plot is the Ambitious Card Routine. Welcome aboard.

Hey, Tom!

My name is Andrew and I'm a magicholic. I have been a member of Theory 11 since 2013 but have only been an active member for the last year and a bit. I signed up at the time because I bought Gypsy Thread, which is one of my favorite effects. I started out as a card magician but have since branched out into some simple mentalism effects as well as magic using everyday items. I love the classics such as the cups and balls, the linking rings, rope routines, and classic effects utilizing cards and coins.

Hope to see you around the forums!

Welcome to the forums!

Lot of great people in here. And a lot of good information gets dispensed here. It'll be worth your time.

And, like Gabriel said, try your luck at the Saturday Night Contests. They start at 7:30 EST on...Saturday nights. And they go on for (usually) 27 1/2 hours. It's fun, and it's a great way to hone some skills. And maybe show each other up in the process.
