How do you keep your magic notes?

I've been creating magic for a while.. (12 years) but I've never really thought about how to catalog my tricks for easy recall. What's your trick? I have heard notebooks and word documents. What do you claim is best?

I jot it down in the notes app on my iphone.

I use Evernote for taking notes on pretty much everything.

I use OneNote (for all my school notes as well), but any cloud sync note taking software/app would work pretty well.

I jot immediate ideas on my IPhone

Routines, how-to's, etc are al done in Microsoft Word--catalogued in many folders

I'm a huge Evernote fan. The combination of folders and tags makes it effortless.

As I stated on the other forums - I use a variety of notebooks of varying colors and shapes for different purposes.

Alvo Stockman put out a pdf a few years ago called MML about a system to use to describe/catalogue effects and routines if you are looking for something other than use somewhere to store a list. It was a free pdf at the time and I imagine it is still floating around somewhere.

Colin, I have the PDF somewhere (Or I used to..) I don't remember that part of the pdf.. Searching now!
