I would like to do some magic while I'm here get some footage. How impressed are the laymen here. I know that magic is much more appreciated here than where I'm from pueblo co. Does the public enjoy simple effects like an acr or have people seen this alot or they just won't be impressed. Basically I'm scared that I'm not good enough for the public here and I don't want to get busted on easy effects. What do you guys think.

Well, I've never been to Vegas but I'd imagine that they're just like normal spectators. They might even be more open and appreciative to magic than other places because that's the environment they live in. :)

I would think that the spectators there are just like spectators anywhere else. I'm sure you will run into some hecklers, but that happens everywhere and to everyone. Like said before, they probably are more open to magic. So I would just say to go and have fun with it, and do not be nervous. Your spectators can usually tell when you're nervous and that will not help you with your performances, trust me, I know. But the more you get out and perform, the more you get better and less nervous with it. I know that I love to perform to random people on the street. I am also going to Vegas with my girlfriend in August, and of course I am planning on doing some magic for the people there.

So, just have fun with it and do not be nervous or scared.

First of all I'm jealous! I've wanted to go to Vegas so bad. But my fantasies aside, I'd recommend acting as if you're in your hometown. Sure maybe there is a higher percentage of laymen exposed to magic, but does that make a good effect any less amazing? No. Be relaxed and have some fun. The most important thing is to have fun. If you enjoy it, your spectators will enjoy it and there will be a more relaxed environment where everyone has fun. Good luck on your trip!

Exactly what I meant by not being nervous. If you're having fun, then they will have fun. Good advice ^^
