Hmmmm.... I can make a vid if you like, I need to charge my cam up real fast but then I can show you my exact variation. I don't quite get what part you are talking about so the vid should clear anything up.

I didn't understand, do you give all 3 cards for inspection, take them back, put it on the deck and then drop them on the table? Because that is the one way to do it, and that is the way that most card tricks are done, but that doesn't really appeal to me. It will go unnoticed by spectator at the time of the performance, but IF they try to work out a method at home, they might remember that you put the cards on the deck again, before you drop them on the table.
And if you don't hand them out for inspection, than it is just as good as it is now. Because in their minds, you did show very fairly 2 Jokers and 1 Ace, if you know what I mean...
Now, there is a method where you can hand out all 3 cards, drop them on the table without ever putting them on the deck, but you will need to hold one of the Jokers for a split second. Which can be motivated by some joke or pointing.
Yeah, I kinda understand what you are talking about, it may seem fishy unless.... you add some misdirection with your other hand. Just know that always being 100% clean isn't the best thing or even necessary and magicians have a tendency to overthink certain movements more than they should.
Always remember, a spectator is spectating and what you do should be natural without you making a scene over anything that is essential to how you do the effect.

I agree, I got away with it every time. Except with my brother. But like praetoritevong has said, "you can be satisfied with pleasing 90% of your audience, but I want 100%". Something along those lines, and for a different subject, but it can be applied here.
