I have seen that the most common way people will do this is they will hold the deck in their dominant hand, riffle up with their thumb about half way, drop the bottom packet into their other hand, adjust and then do it. I find that to be a bit cumbersome looking, the way I've been doing it is I will swing cut the top packet off (I am right handed) bring my left thumb to my right thumb, and grab the top packet with my left hand, then there is no need to adjust or anything. Are there any disadvantages anyone here can see to that, to me it just looks nicer to do. Opinions?
