Invisible Deck Tips - Anyone?

Are there any official formulations of roughing spray available on the magic market today? Or do I have to use a substitute? My magic dealer recommends a small spray paint from Testors and it works ok with me.

The really weird thing about spraying, however, is this: it all started this weekend, when I decided to take some of my unused desk calendars so that I could spray some deck backs in the baking sun on my porch. Blue, [spray]. Old Red invisible, [spray]. Brand new seal-has-never-even-been-broken Black Tiger deck, [spray]. The black tiger batch I possess has a manufacturing defect in the bottom of the box, you see.

A day later, I came to pack my fanny pouch and I looked at the IDs I made. They worked ok after some sortkwik on my fingers, and the Black tiger just looked gorgeous. But what was peculiar was the smell (or lack thereof)

Blue deck:

[sniff] EEWW

Tiger deck:

[sniff] ... [sniff]...

no smell. And I left them in a Porper clip, too. Surely the vapors could only accumulate... so why is there very little odor compared to the blue deck?

Maybe you can help me as to what is going on. Is it some weird reaction with the UV500 finish, or what? The conditions as to the actual spraying process were the same, so that's not the problem.

And then my other topic: does anyone have some excellent routines, tips, suggestions, resources etc. for the use of this deck? I kinda feel that this deck has only one type of routine for me; Maybe someone might have something good they've posted, who knows? I'd love to hear your reply. ;)

Testor's Dull Cote is probably what most people use and it works fine. I have never noticed an odor but then again I have only used it on regular bikes.

Jay Sankey I believe has a book that goes with an ID that gives some ideas. Not sure what the title is.

Not a book, a DVD called Invisible. I intend to get it tomorrow; yes, Testors 1260 is also what I use. I just wanted to know if others were also used.
