Some people think rubber band magic isnt very strong because they are very good at cards, but rubber bands are actually very very strong because it's something they could relate to but it's something unexplainable.

Unlike card, coin or rope magic, it isn't so easy to say "you switched/hid/palmed/held a break".

Especially when everything is so clean.

Completely agree. You'd also be hard pressed to have...or even find a gimmicked rubber band.

Just to throw it out there. Ray Kosby has a rubber band routine that's actually a 'Professors Nightmare'...with rubber bands.

I'm trying to find a video of it. But it's extremely neat...and knowing how it works, it's extremely tough to do.

It makes more sense once you have the DVD, but...yeah. Holy pistol whip. 'Rubber Nightmare' Requires a bit of luck. And a lot of practice.
