I am really really really interested in creating my own magic and have a few rough ideas, but am nowhere near creating my first, fully solid effect. Would any of you recommend this DVD? I read some other reviews saying the DVD was helpful, but any details would be great! Also, what other sources would you recommend to help spark creative ideas?

I have the DVD, and I don't believe anything is going to be able to teach you how to "create magic." The best advice I can give is think of the effect first, and then devise a method. Think of using old methods in new ways, or think of completely new methods. Ask yourself, "If I could do real magic, what would I do?"
 
Great advice Jeff! Where di you buy his DVD anyway so if I ever wanted to take a look into it? Thanks!
