I was thinking of getting something a little older for a change, and would just like to know people's opinions on all or any of the 3 volumes.

My question is why don't you have it?
From what I remember on the dvds are some of IMO his greatest works. I love the little optical illusions he throws in, (it kind of shows his way of thinking, which is quite sideways) I am going to start performing the brass tubes trick with the balls.
Angle zero is taught which can be fun to play with, I believe Bizzaro uses it in his act not sure though. The ball going to 2d to 3d is a great effect he teaches, I do a lot of his coin work he teaches on a daily basis.
All in all I would recommend this three disk set, also if you have a bit more money I would suggest buying "Visions of Wonder" Tommy Wonder dvds. The sets are in the same ball park, but the Tommy Wonder dvds are mostly parlor effects.
