I've been on and off with magic for the past year and now I'm trying to make a show to perform for birthdays and i have some effects but im just wondering for you people who do birthdays, what are some effects you use? the age group is 7 and up just for ideas.

Try the Classic Color Change. It's pretty easy AND visual, so it might work.

Good question
Try to:

• involve kids in the trick (let them hold cards, choose items)
• add a bit of humour
• keep tricks short and visual
• Simple mental tricks (guessing a card or choice)

Simple + interactive = best reactions
