Liquify and Watermark?

Richard Sanders and Bill Abbott have an effect called Liquify which seems dangerously similiar to Mathieu Bich's Watermark

anyone have any knowledge of Liquify?

Yes, the main methods are completly different. I think Watermark is more practical and Liquify is more of a cool method.

The method is totally different. There are no chemicals or anything else applied to the paper. The effect is similar, but it is different.

liquify is much more practical. it takes less time to set up and it looks just as good.
nothing is added and it costs less to make the gimmick.
its a different method. i personally like it better.

On the DVD The Sankey/Skutt Sessions, Mike Skutt has an effect called "Mr. Tea" that also resembles these two effects, but again uses a completely different method.
