Magic In the Rockies Convention

I attended the Magic in the Rockies show last year and and am hoping to attend the convention this year. I've never been to a magic convention before so I have a few questions.

1. Do magicians sell their products there?

2. What exactly is a Dealer's Room?

3. Do you just kind of wander around and meet magicians?

4. Do magicians actually teach their tricks at their magic lectures?

5. What are your thought on magic conventions? Are they worth the money? Are they any fun/helpful?

Thanks,
Charlie

1. Yes, they do, at discounts by the way

2.If I remember correctly it was either the room where they sells stuff like flash paper, some gimmicks and stuff like that, or it was the room where they lecture, not sure which one of those

3.You can speak to them about correct execution sleights, also you can buy a lot of cool stuff

4.Yes, those that use sleight of hand, the gimmicked tricks are shown and hen then offer you to buy them

5.I think they are pretty much fun and yes, they are helpful. As I mentioned you get to buy some useful stuff, gimmicks that you can't even buy in your own magicshop or you can buy them if you have no magicshop near your area...

I can only answer the last two. Yes and yes. Go to a lecture whenever you get the chance. Make sure you take notes though.
