Hi , I saw before a mentalist tells one of the audience to come out to the stage and says to him that imagine you stand up on the library then take any book imaginary , name any name to this book , open any page and named that page number then name any word in your mind , the volunteer says cat for example , finally the magician tell him to bring out the predication from his front pockect it matches ( cat) ! .. Can anybody explain that ! Stooges ? Fake ? Real ? I am confused really .. the second part : a prediction placed on the table with 6 cards shown to the spectator every card have different word then the mentalist tells him to choose any number from 1 to 6 then he counts to the chosen card , the chosen card matches the prediction ! No stooges are needed for either effect. A method for either can be found in 13 Steps to Mentalism by Corrinda. If you are interested in this kind of magic then check it out for sure. Mentalists and magicians alike rarely use stooges in magic. Some do for sure but for most it seems unethical or too easy. Besides there are much simpler ways of performing the tricks you mentioned above rather than using stooges.

Page 12 (b) of could easily be used as a method for the first effect. Of course the presentation is the entertaining part. There are a few methods talked about in this step that could be applied to achieve this same effect
Page 326 is the classic method for the card effect. Corrinda uses 10 cards but magicians tend to use 6 objects much more often.

Thanks bro it's red card prediction ( some cards face up and some face down ) this method is so similar to that I mentioned above ( all cards are face up) red card method gives me some details but still don't know the entire method mentioned anyway I will try several ways and I think 13 step to mentalism book will give me proficiently .. And if you have any idea or explanation i hope to write it here plz .. I have some questions here plz , mentalist writes on board the private information of the spectator and he don't know him before ! Gives the spectator a clipboard to draw a simple shape then put it in the envelope without seeing it brings out a board and he starts to draw , both the drawing shapes are same ! In some times the prediction sealed in an envelope ! Another feat is that imagine you walk up to the machine bank .. etc imagine the number PIN of yours on the air then mentalist says that number one by one without any mistake ! How all this feats are done ? Also in last time I read a book about mind reading by William Atkinson but it's very hard exercise and impossible to do , is that real ? Can anybody do that!
