I will be visiting New York in January, are there any places which are related to magic? Or any places which would be worth going to see, or to do.

I don't want to go there and come back, and miss something!

Go to tannens. Its the an awesome magic store. I haven't been to fantasma yet though but i know tannens is good. Unless you're looking for Ellusionist stuff, then you won't want to go there.

I would go to fantasma, the stuff is a bit more expensive, but the people there are just soo much better.

I agree with holo, people at fantasma, are much nicer, at least to me. Anyway, your going to the city correct, there are 2 very small magic shops like for kids at Toys R Us and FAO, just so you know, but i highly recommend, fantasma and tannens (i've been to both). If your in the long island area there is the Hicksville Magic Shop as Well

I have heard that Monday Night Magic in New York City is great. It is a magic show with different magicians. If you Google it you will find out a lot about it. Have fun!
