i know they are two completely different things, for different pourposes... but which is better? which do you all use more often? and for what?

I don't really use palms that much. But I think that a classic palm and tenkai really depend on the size of your hands. That is in my opinion but I don't really use palms like I said...so yeah.
The size of your hands DOES NOT matter whatsoever to palming cards!! This has been drilled into me by many different magicians when they hear me complain about my small hands. And I thank them for it... I wouldn't be doing Revolution Cuts if not for them! I was told a story once about a magician who's hands were so small that when he classic palmed a card, nearly 1/4 of it would be sticking out... Spectators didn't notice because his patter was AMAZING!
When going into any type of palm... The card has to go SOMEWHERE... And it has to go SOMEWHERE pretty soon, because your motions become limited and there is only a certain time gap before spectators start to suspect something. Tenkai and Classic have different applications. I prefer Classic because it has more variations and more uses when standing up. "Lateral Palming is the way to go..." as I remember Lennart Green saying in one of his videos... Agreed... But you need the practice. And it's better for table-work.
