Try the ellusionist gaffed deck not the ultragaffed the normal gaffed has tons of great tricks and will help your creativity take a huge jump

again i am pretty new to t11 and this is the first forum iv been a part of, so how did the name of this thread change?
I believe that mods can change the name of a thread to specify what the thread is about or if the thread name is unrelated to the thread.
I wouldn't skip straight into the middle of Card College. It's best to start at volume 1 and work your way through...unless, of course, you already have 1-3
I'm not familiar with paper engine or smooth operations, so I can't say anything there.
As far as individual tricks go...I'm a huge fan of Sinful.
Smooth Operations is cool, but it's short. You'd be much better off getting Totally Out of Control, which is long, and awesome. There is just not enough material to make it worth your while (when you're just starting out). And as far as the Card College 4 goes, that's really a judgement call, it's not really about what tricks you know, but about what sleights you know. Because by volume four, they don't tell you what a top palm, classic pass, or automatic-turn-over is. You can risk getting it and not knowing what half the stuff is, or you can gradually work your way up.
