Pulling Suggested a Card

Hey Guys,

I am new to magic, and have been learning some slights. I have a really cool idea for a trick, but I don't know what I should be looking up to make it happen.

does anyone know of any methods that would allow me to pull a suggested card from a hidden deck?

I am fairly new, so I am sorry for the "noobiness" of this question.

Can you be more specific mate? Do you mean like a card index? I know daniel madison has a holdout/index called the "Advocate" where you reach into your pocket and pull out any named card. Is this what you mean?

im going to have a blank deck, and have their suggested card appear on the middle of it

The best way is to use the principle used in an Invisible Deck / Brainwaive Deck. You will have to make your own deck, but it is pretty easy.

Aldo Colombini has a routine called 'Draw a Blank' which is pretty good. No 'gimmicks' as such, self contained and pretty impressive to lay people.

I think a card-index system would work for what I want. I found a few, but they all cost money.

Are there any classic ones I can look into?
