Recommendations on tricks

Hey Cat. Welcome back to magic.

Give me a budget of what you would be willing to spend to develop a couple of street magic sets and a hospital set. I'll then give you suggestions within that budget.

I honestly don't know a budget :/ I am in the middle of trying to get a job as well as go to school so I will probably just be putting money back as I go. Do you have an example of a good budget to have?

Ditto! I know at our library in town they have Joshua Jay's Amazing Book of Cards which comes with a DVD, the Mark Wilson's Encyclopedia of magic, Magic for Dummies, the Klutz Book of Magic and a few DVD's on basic and intermediate magic. Any of these books would be great places to start, or restart.

1 Package of 4 Goshman 2 inch Supersoft Sponge Balls - $5 at Penguin
1 Invisible Deck - $8 at Penguin
1 dollar bill - $1
3 lemons - $1

For less than $50 you can construct a street magic show and a hospital show using those items. I'd be glad to help you develop your street magic show and your hospital show using those items.

This is awesome! I'd switch out the lemons for a couple lengths of rope. But man that is great!

Hmmm. I forgot about 25 feet of magician's rope for $6 and a thumb tip. Maybe reduce the decks to 4 (2 red, 2 black) and get the rope and thumb tip for $2.

I meant two red decks and two blue decks -- although black decks are nice too.
