Resources For Holding Your Breath

I just purchased Control by Wayne Houchin and loved it, on the DVD he teaches a couple and references a ton of different methods for stopping your heart. I know that yogis and fakirs have been famous for holding their breath as well. Are there resources for holding your breath out there? Are there ways to fake holding your breath?
