Rope Magic

I have been playing around with some rope magic, and I find that when I do a move where the end of the rope has to slide out of a knot, the tip (where I burned it to keep the ends from fraying) catches and I have to tug and loosen the knot and tug and it totally kills the effect. Does anyone know of a way to fix this problem?

Thanks,
Rob

A lot of people use Elmer's Glue because it dries nicely and it also dries clear. I highly recommend Abbott's book of Rope Magic to anyone seriously interested in rope magic. It is a great resource.

Tape and elmers glue - I'll definitely try both of those! Thanks guys.

Reverhart, Is there really good rope magic in that book? I mean I looked at Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic, and didn't like any of the rope magic in there. The routine I am working on is off of The Real Secrets of Magic and is based on Fiber Optics and it's awesome I love it.
