Not really. Sorry but Card College as a whole is by FAR more complex and indepth than Royal Road. Not just a rewrite.
The more advanced volumes cover material that isn´t even mentioned in Royal Road.
For me, CC was (and still is since it doesn´t stop where RR ends) indefinitely better (easier) to learn from.
It´s not my favorite book (but among my top 5), but Giobbis approach of teaching the material is, just my opinion of course, by far the most effective of any magic book I´ve ever read.
Of course, the old books/magicians/materials are the backbone of his course. That´s normal. The stuff in there is the foundation of nearly everything that´s released today.
But none of the old masters has Giobbis talent to teach the material in a way that is absolutely clear to me (in a book...well maybe Harry Lorayne). He may not be the greatest magician of all time, but for me he´s one of the greatest magic teacher I know.
