Saturday Night Contest - Father's Day!

My father has taught me to live my life with optimistic point of view and attitude that with hard work almost everything is possible. He also taught me to respect others. Now that I have my own children, I occasionally think back to my own childhood and think how my father would have handled the situation. I want my kids to have as good childhood as I did and be there to help them if needed, just as my father has done for me.

I honestly didn't think my dad taught me anything... until he passed Boxing Day 2020.
He worked for a company for 30+ years and never missed a day. All shift work. There were times growing up, I didn't see him for days and days.
But now I realize all the work ethic, the knowledge of right from wrong and patience are things he gave me. I know I'm not a great person, but I know he wouldn't be disappointed in me.
I hope at some point I can make him proud.... where ever he may be....
Happy Fathers Day to everyone...

My father inspires me through his quiet resilience and the steady example he sets every single day. He isn’t one for grand speeches; instead, he shows his dedication through his work ethic, integrity, and the way he consistently puts family first. Seeing him handle life’s challenges with a calm, problem-solving mindset taught me what true reliability looks like. He inspires me to let my actions speak for themselves and to be someone others can always count on.

What inspires me most about my dad is his ability to be a rock when things get overwhelming. No matter how complicated a situation seems, his clear, down-to-earth advice always puts things into perspective. He shows me how to chase big goals without ever compromising on family or integrity, setting the perfect example of what it means to be a truly reliable leader.

Last week my dad and I went to my Grandma's house to build her a wheelchair ramp. He is the hardest working, most outgoing person I know. He has always been a good example for me.
