Monday April 8th is a total solar eclipse here in the United States. The last time this happened was in August of 2017, so this doesn't come around too often! Using the eclipse as the inspiration of this week's contest, let's get right into it.
Using playing cards in some way, we want to see your take on an eclipse. For example, you can take a photo of a card blocking a portion of the sun in an artsy way, utilizing composition and setting to make it stand out. Anything involving playing cards and blocking light, or playing with shadows, is fair game. Definitely a weekend to get creative with your own interpretation!
Post your photo to Instagram and hashtag it #theory11 or upload the photo directly in your response, and link the photo in your response to this forum thread by no later than 11:00pm EST tomorrow, Sunday, April 7th. Once time is up, the contest is closed and we will begin the judging process, which will be decided based on overall impact, creativity, and execution.
