Does this effect come with a crazy gimmick, do you have to make a crazy gimmick, or does it not involve a gimmick? Is it easy to perform, and is it practical?

There is no gimmick included. And you don't need any when you are performing the coin bend.
You just need a bent coin.
The DVD simply teaches "psychological stratedy and design for the coin bend", as it says.
So what you learn is ways to make them feel the coin bending and the coin's date appearing on the back of their hand and stuff like that.
I strongly recommend you read some reviews of it before you buy it.
It is pretty "bold", you need some cajones to pull it off. It is kind of like hypnosis and suggestion. You have to have some authority and to be comfortable performing for people.
