I think that was on the Dick Calvert show back in the 70's. But I don't know how he did it. That is why he is Slydini.

The problem with youtube is that people like Slydini's magic is totally based off misdirection, meaning that if you can rewind it, it's easy to work out. But watching it live is amazing.

although im guilty, i had to watch a second time to see how he did the card tricks...gave me ideas
