Street show help

I've got a job as at a theme park and they want me to do street magic, and of course promote their stuff (ball and vase, and a few other props). The question is what's the best routine to use? Currently I have:
the Biddle trick
ball and vase
4 sided card thingy (that trick with the card that has dots on it arranged so you can show that it has 4 sides)
Ambitious card...
... and of course...
sponge balls.

I can get an invisible deck, and I have Linking Rings. What do you guys recomend for a street show? (The cups and balls are not my thing, probably because I've never worked with a good set) If you can recommend a show order or anything else like that, as well as tricks, that would be great.

Your set seems good, and with that setting many people might want to stick around and see everything that you have, just make sure that your stuff won't be choppy, think about some patter that would lead your audience into the next trick.

What you have sounds great, organize the tricks so it won't go cards, vase, cards. You'll get it, it sounds pretty good. Maybe you should also try coins. Everyone likes money.

Good Luck

Thanks for the advise. I'll find some money stuff, though it's not my strongest area. I've never done rubber band work, so I have no clue what's out there for bands. Any recommendations for either money or rubber band effects/DVDs?

I've got Noblezada's In the Beginning There Were Coins, and can do a few other slights that aren't on that DVD. I'm "discovered" (probably due to timing...) more often with coins than anything and I almost never work with bills so recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Learn Crazy Mans Handcuff's - Many sources (Magic of Michael Ammar, Tarbell..)
Get 'Stairway' it's a one-on-one here and very good for what you're doing.

Both are instant reset. If I were in your shoes this is what I'd do.

Crazy Man's Handcuffs
Stairway
Spongeballs
Vase and Ball thing
A Strong ACR

Since you're doing street magic you could vary it up a bit with other effects, but make sure that you have them down with patter and everything. Try to have a lot of instant reset tricks, and just a few that need a set-up but are killer.

You will definitely want to throw in a nice short routine with a stripper deck. I would say 99% of the employees working for a magic shop rely on pulling in a crowd with a quick stripper deck routine. They can be performed in front of larger crowds, can go quickly, and be sold quite easily.

I'm pretty sure he's got enough props to carry around for 'street magic'. But I guess a stripper deck could be ok, even though you can do just as good effects with a normal deck and have lighter pockets.

The shop sells a marked deck, the ball and vase, and very few other really good props. I'd almost call it a gift shop that threw magic in just for the heck of it. I own a stripper deck, but don't use it. I don't like gaffed cards or decks in general, unless they are things like a "zipper card" or the card's Gregory Wilson uses for Pip Streak.

Thanks for the help. I'm working on some other trick sequences to see if I can get it to flow better than it was. I'll certainly consider working in some other props.
