A Stripper deck is cut on a bias so that when you return a card to the deck in a reverse position from what the rest of the deck is in, you will feel the edges of the card and can easily locate and remove it. It's great for doing gambling routines.
A Svengali deck is designed with alternate cards that are all the same but cut slightly shorter than the rest of the cards that have a variety of values. When you riffle the deck on way it looks like a normal deck but riffle it the opposite direction all the cards are the same. This type of deck can be used for various routines including the mode of being a forcing deck.
