Anybody know why it got pulled down and the deck stack part removed? I have the original, just wondering if anyone has heard anything.

The government thought it was too risky because the material could actually be used in real life situations so they decided to ban it... Whoever received their copy is REALLY LUCKY as they now hold one of the rarest modern book on card cheating...

Well at least that's what I think happened... sounds like a legit reason...

OH Man I Havent gotten it down at all. I got it thru the hidden page, but thats gone now. I got it last night, I plan on learning th stack this weekend. while making a Blood marked deck. If this is ever rereleased definately get it. It is awesome.

I too as an owner of chapter 12+13 wonder why the marking system was allowed to stay but the stacked deck part was "banned." The 13th chapter has nothing to do at all with card cheating nor could it ever work in a casino environment.

I will be working on the marked deck party today. I gotta buy some new cards. I really appreciate Daniel and his contributions to magic. I really wished the other parts of his book were released as well.

And no, I will not trade so please do not even consider PM-ing me about it.
Well, I take that back, I will trade this for a Derren Brown pure effect or absolute magic 1st edition. maahhahahahaha (just kidding mods)

The stack is not an easy one, which, may suggest to venture out an create even more deceptive ones using the same concept. The deck switch? I have no clue. I like his Hein-shuffle variation a lot.

That's a standard deck switch. You can find a dvd explanation on "weapons of the card shark."

That is a good dvd.

As far as false shuffles go, i only really use the zarrow. I'll have to practice a few of these other ones.

I wonder who had a problem with chapter 13 and why it couldn't be published.
That seems really odd to me.

All chapter 13 is about is a stack and memorized decks, then magic effects relating to the stack and memorized deck.
Both lovell's gambling dvd and weapons of the card shark defintally explore the area of cheating more in depth than this ebook. Along with Lovell's "How to Cheat at Everything."

Sheesh, you're more likely to become a crooked con after those three items then what Daniel put out.....

Yeah. The marking system was of more use to me than the whole of Chapter 13. I'm sure everyone would realize the false riffle shuffle. It sounds totally different from a real riffle shuffle...

The shuffle isnt done at eye level, and its very deceptive. I can understand you may be intimidated by his stack, jsut put time inti memorising it and think of how useful it will be.

I was fortunate enough to pick up Ch. 12 +13 on the hidden page. All I can say is, "Wow."

The stuff in there is genius. I am a little intimidated by the stack, but I really haven't had enough time to sit down and get really familiar with it. I'll have to do that this weekend.

Also on my to do list: Get a new deck so I can mark that sucker up! His marked deck ideas are awesome.

Too bad it was taken off the market, this is a gem. I'm happy I picked it up. If you guys ever get the chance to (legally) pick this up, you definitely should go for it.
