This is an awesome topic! It's hard to chose, I may need to update this post more when I do some more research on what happened this year.

1. Best release of the year: Theory11-Odessy Ring, General-GPS Deck
2. Best video of the year: I'm pretty sure this was in 2016, The Illusionist's TV special
3. Greatest performance of 2016: The Clairvoyants on AGT, if I had to chose just one act it would be their second sight act.
4. Greatest moment of 2016:

6. Best up and coming magician: I'll say Mario Lopez just because he is new to me
7. Best cardist of the year:
8. Best magician of the year: Blake Vogt is a close runner up but after fooling Penn and Teller Releasing a DVD giving a lecture and all of it culminating in a great run on AGT this last year I have to say Steven Brundage
